Had breakfast at Caribou Coffee in Oakland this morning. I was very proud of myself for answering their trivia quiz and getting ten cents off, but the question was insultingly easy (How many sides on a snowflake? - gimme a break!). Anyway, I had 2 complaints. First, the checkout counter has too much junk on it. There's no room to put down your coffee, food, and newspaper so you can get out your wallet to pay! Clear all that crap out of the way, for God's sake. Second, there's way too many people in there acting like they're doing something important on their laptops when all they are doing is taking up valuable space. Drink your latte and get the hell outa there!
Coffee: Excellent
Food: Average (New breakfast sandwich - too much cheese and too much spinach)
Service: Good - One demerit because I had to remind the cashier to take ten cents off for my correct trivia question answer
Ambience: Good: Nice and quiet in spite of all the laptop people
Newspaper: Good: Was able to purchase P-G (not free, however)
